TR Toppers is a national food processing company located in Pueblo, CO. We specialize in processing name-brand candies and other types of inclusions used in various food products, such as ice cream and cakes, and shipped throughout the company. SUMMARY: The Janitorial Associate will observe all safety regulations and ensure all GMP (good manufacturing practices) standards are met while maintaining company restrooms, breakrooms, and locker room areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub assigned areas.
• Perform all cleaning tasks on the master cleaning schedule.
• Clean windows and appliances.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and recycle bins.
• Report major repairs to the supervisor.
• Cary out frequencies and responsibilities in Master Cleaning Schedule. 
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• One year of related experience and training.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Employees must be able to multitask.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to do repetitive motion work

• Exposure to constant loud sounds
• Exposure to continuous or intermediate dusty areas

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, the risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position will work the afternoon shift, 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday, but the employee must be flexible and able to work other shifts, weekends, and overtime to meet the company's needs.
