Job Description - Japanese Bilingual IT Project Manager

We are seeking a candidate to lead projects and provide system support for financial market operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT project management, customer support, and financial market operations.

Working Location: Hybrid (Jersey City, NJ) 1-2days per week on-site
Employment Type : Permanent
Salary : 90K-120K

[Job Overview]
1. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1-1. Market system related project migration

Project requirement definition document creation and review
Project specifications review
Performing test and review the test result
UAT support, review migration/implementation planning
Budgeting, approval process support

1-2. Market system support

Classify user inquiries and system trouble inquiries
Escalation to the user department and development department
User inquiry management
Coordination with the system development team and management team
System impact testing
Test environment management, test schedule management
Go-Live support and schedule management

2. Required skills
Must:

Banking transaction knowledge (Exchange/receivable transaction) *System development experience is a big plus
Understanding of the concept of the system interface protocols (SFTP, HTTO, ODBC, MO etc)
Quick learning ability of IT related tools

Preferred:

SQL script knowledge
Data analysis experience for troubleshooting
Regulatory reporting (FR2052a, FFIEC002 etc.) knowledge

3. Other requirements
Must:

English- business level, Japanese - business level
Problem solving skill
Flexible customer support skill

Preferred:

IT project management experience
IT customer support experience
