Job Description:

Must-Have Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, with 8 to 10 years of professional development experience, and at least 4+ years of Financial Services industry experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, self-motivated and adaptability to changing situations and requirements.
• Collaboration skills to work with Tech team members as well business stakeholders to understand requirements, application solution, development, testing and rollout.
• Ability to enhance the process standards and best practices and support L3 issues for currently live systems.
• Expert-level experience in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development.
• Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture/RESTful services.
• Expert-level experience in relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase).
• Expert-level experience in Python and object-oriented design and development.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.

Nice-to-Have Skill Set:

• Any experience working with Snowflake databases and Snowflake data sharing.
• Any experience working with Python AI/ML libraries.
• Any experience working with unstructured data management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good team spirit.
• Proficiency in verbal and written business communication.
• A passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business.
