The selected candidate will work closely with Global Tech business and technical partners to implement data strategies that support the GT data model and the Technology ADS. Technology ADS is an enterprise and mission critical platform for GT to consolidate, control, and provision data required to run the technology company. Candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert documenting design for Tech ADS and other platforms.

Required Skills:

· Proficient in preparing & drawing design documents.

· Well organized in documenting & managing critical governance documents.

· Working experience with a large technical team.

· Good working knowledge on Visio & MS Office suites.

· Manage the Permit To Operate process to ensure approval of designs. This includes creating the documentation and working across several lines of business & technology to gain approvals

Desired Skills:

· BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline

· Software development in an Agile environment

· Proficient in writing SQL queries and analyze data.

Position Summary

The Ideal candidate should be able to develop and support Graph Database and Query Language.

Responsibilities*

The selected candidate will be an individual contributor responsible for development of the Technology ADS FIDL Layer (Federated Intelligent Data Layer). Candidate will be a member of a small team of developers and data analysts who support development of the Tech ADS. Candidate will be responsible for a wide range of programming tasks and technologies including GraphQL, OpenShift, Node.js, Oracle SQL etc. Candidate will be involved in design, code, test and level 3 support of the FIDL. In addition to development, the candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business to ensure requirements are met and with other functional areas of technology (QA, Production Support) to ensure effective implementation. Team uses an Agile development process.

Requires 2+ years of development experience

Experience working with Graph Database and Query Language (e.g. GraphQL, OpenShift, Node.js, Oracle SQL etc.)

Experience with high level programming languages (Node.js, Java, Python etc)

Experience working with database systems (e.g. Exadata, NoSQL etc.)

Nice to have knowledge on below tools:

o Hasura

o Redis Cache

o Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana

o Splunk

o Apollo Federation gateway

Experience on building REST API

Experience working as part of an Agile team and using Agile SDLC tools (Jira, etc.)

Ability to partner with other functional areas to ensure execution of development, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting application.

Ability to develop awareness of business function for which application is being designed in order to drive out detailed requirements and form effective partnerships.

strong analytical ability, independent problem solving, and good communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and deliver in a fast-paced agile environment.

Expert knowledge and experience in software development methodologies and industry practices

Expert understanding and experience with building and deploying enterprise applications.
