Title: Java Developer(80% backend - 20% frontend)

Client: Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh(FHLBPA) // Non Apex

Location: Pittsburgh, PA(3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 12 months contract

Summary of Position:

Ability to work independently and in a team environment to understand business requirements, design technical solutions and implement applications. As a seasoned technical resource, this role is sought out for the medium to high complexity and moderate risk projects that align with the skill set.

Expected Education Level: Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience: 3 – 6 years

Business Knowledge Complexity: Medium

Expected Deliverables: Estimates, Design, Code, Unit test, Technical documentation, Issue resolution

Technology Required: Java Spring Boot Rest API Collabnet Subversion Spring Tool Suite MyEclipse Cloud Native Architecture Maven PL/SQL skills Strong preference: Experience in addressing vulnerabilities in code and open source composition. Owasp top 10 Optional: Containers/Kubernetes Jenkins/Nexus Selenium

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyzes and understands user requirements

2. Works closely with project managers, other team members and external resources in the development and support of applications. Ability to communicate effectively with project team members and highly technical resources.

3. Participates in application code review sessions.

4. Applies application development skills to assist the group in completing projects.

5. Performs unit testing and support of quality assurance and user acceptance testing.

6. Creates technical documentation
