JDAM Assembly/Operator

SUMMARY  

This job description covers all roles within the JDAM manufacturing cell.  An employee hired in accordance with this job description may be utilized in fabrication, machining, and/or assembly processes. This may include sheet rolling, mechanized welding, machining (mill and/or lathe), assembly, conversion coating/dipping, hardware addition, and/or paint preparation.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

• Able to effectively use common hand tools. 
• Able to effectively use common manual inspection tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, ID micrometers, go/no-go pins, go/no-go thread gauges. 
• Able to read and interpret work instructions to operate equipment and manufacture parts per drawing requirements. 
• Perform in-process inspections of their work. 
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Comply with FOD requirements as required. 
• Adhere to Safety policies and procedures at all times.  Promote safety culture throughout the Plant. 
• Other duties as required.

• Familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse environment. 
• Able to work in a team environment. 
• Able to operate in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Excellent organization and analytical skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Be able to climb, squat and stand on your feet for long periods of time.  Able to lift 40 lbs.
