Open Position:  Jewelry Design Lead
Location:  Brooklyn, New York

Salary Range:  $81,373.00 – $88,850.00

Responsibilities:  

• Research trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling;
• Create concepts for 13-16 fashion and fine jewelry collections each season, and direct the design vision for the brand.
• Conduct and present on concept research and mood board creation, collaborate cross-functionally with the Merchandising team to interpret trends into brand-appropriate products that fit within targeted retail pricing.
• Review designs and visual mock-ups using hand drawings, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator created by junior design staff.
• Create designs and mock-ups when necessary.
• Execute technical drawings and create SPEC sheets in Adobe Illustrator; enter product details into PLM and create tech packs for production overseas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Product Development team to ensure designs are sampled to specifications.
• Review all product samples and make revisions and adjustments when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Product Development team to ensure designs are produced. 
• Manage the work of Associate Designers and Technical Designers.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in jewelry design. 
• Prior experience must include 3 years of experience working with digital rendering.
• 3 years of experience using mechanical drawing,
• 3 years of experience working with jewelry mockups and prototypes,
• 3 years of experience working with SPEC sheets and Techpack creation,
• 3 years of experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator,
• 3 years of experience working the product development software systems.
