Jewelry Polisher - Full Time

Summary: Maximize profit through refinishing jewelry by using several different polishing techniques with a keen eye for detail

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Polish, clean and steam all jewelry
2. Return jewelry to proper envelopes
3. Keen eye for detail on finished jewelry
4. Use multiple jewelry tools
5. Sort, weigh and use test acid during scrap process
6. Remove inscriptions and separate wedding sets
7. Be precise with billing and shipping to correct location
8. Other duties as assigned by upper management

Qualifications:

Formal Education and Experience Requirement (Must meet one or more of the following requirements):

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of jewelry experience

Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of jewelry equipment
• Knowledge of basic goldsmithing

• See (detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess) 100% of day
• Taste/smell (detect, distinguish, determine) 100% of day
• Pushing or pulling 20% of day
• Reaching 20% of day
• Repetitive Motion 60% of day

Lifting Requirements:

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
