The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. We are looking for a Job Coach who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide on-site support and supervision to students at job training, internship, or community based vocational sites
Teach and model appropriate workplace behaviors, communication skills, and job-specific tasks
Assist students in developing independence, self-advocacy, and problem-solving skills in the workplace
Collaborate with employers, site supervisors, and school staff to ensure job placements align with student goals and abilities
Monitor student performance, collect data, and document progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition goals
Adapt tasks or environments as needed to accommodate student strengths and needs

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or related field required
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in vocational, educational, or therapeutic settings preferred
Experience supporting job training, community-based instruction, or employment services preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
