Job Developer - Exciting Challenge

A non-profit organization in New York is looking to add a new Job Developer to their growing team.

The Job Developer will be responsible for generating potential job orders, researching and developing job opportunities for students, and maintaining organized records of contacted employers.

Essential Functions:

• Cold call and email employers to research and develop job opportunities for students
• Utilize various job search engines to generate potential job orders
• Work collaboratively with the Placement Coordinators by submitting job orders and recording them
• Maintain organized records of contacted employers as well as the result of any communications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience in Sales or Job Development
• Oral and written communication skills, including drafting of emails
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employers and staff
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
• Ability to take direction when needed
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Efficient with meeting deadlines and time management
• Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with department needs
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Familiarity with:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Google Workspace
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of this weight or lighter
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time
