Join us as a
Test/troubleshoot printed circuit boards, electronic assemblies, and systems. Read and interpret both simple and complex documents. Maintain inventory and records as required.
Essential Function
Costing:
• Complete and maintain all necessary records and reports associated with producing simple and complex assemblies as required.
• Indicate missing or damaged goods and properly communicate to the materials team.
Production:
• Work from manufacturing information, bill of material lists, requisitions, written and/or oral instructions.
• Gathers and receives parts to complete tasks while following materials management guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
• Occasionally Inserts and solders parts through multiple methods requiring hand and automated tools.
• Familiar with low voltage and high voltage circuits.
• May be required to assemble and commission a range of items such as computers and other OEM specific designs.
• Follows all guidelines and work instructions.
• Prepare for shipment completed equipment, accessory and service parts and assure parts on products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment as required.
• Complete and maintain all necessary records and reports associated with assembly as required.
• May be required to successfully pass certification’s specific to the quality of our product.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Keep work areas in a neat and orderly fashion by completing 5S and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintains effective communications with teammates, customers, and suppliers; accepting new challenges; acting as mentor to new/temporary employees.
• All other duties as assigned.
Employee Engagement:
• This position requires interaction with hourly production workers for training and guidance. This position also interfaces with “Engineering” on an on-going basis to help solve problems and occasionally has contact with our field offices.
Leadership:
• Guide and assist other personnel as directed.
• Provide suggestions and ideas toward continuous improvement.
Education
• ASSOCIATES DEGREE REQUIRED
• Electronics
Experience
• 1-3 years Prior PCB or electronic troubleshooting experience preferred
Certifications & Licenses
• IPC Certification Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• REQUIRED: Must have depth perception and not be color blind.
• REQUIRED: Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• REQUIRED: Able to lift to 50Ibs.
• REQUIRED: Operator certification within 60 days. (Varies based on business need)
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings
• General SAP Knowledge
• Ability to identify and solve problems
• Safety:
• The ability to work safely and proactively contribute to a safer work environment.
• Observe and actively participate in all company rules and safety practices.
• Quality:
• The demonstration of work duties which an employee should know and understand to produce quality, defect-free pieces, or quality mistake-free work output.
• Check quality of material and verify conformance to standards.
