TITLE: Director of Compensation (hybrid role)
INDUSTRY: Technology 
LOCATION: Austin, TX 
COMPENSATION: Depends on experience (Base, bonus, plus LTI)
RELOCATION: Local candidates preferred
 
RAPIDLY GROWING company needs a Director of Compensation to build out their compensation programs/processes/department.
 
SUMMARY:
- Responsible for designing, planning, developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs, policies, and processes (i.e., job architecture, salary structures, executive compensation, broad-based compensation, equity, etc.) that support the company’s long-term goals as well as the retention and attraction of employees 
- Will directly handle executive compensation, equity plan administration, and Board readiness
- Will work closely with key business leaders
- Lead/coach/mentor/build a compensation team
 
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of compensation experience including 3+ years of executive compensation experience at publicly traded companies
- Strong understanding of and experience with job architecture/salary structures
- Experience building and scaling compensation programs/operations
- Experience preparing materials/presentations for Board Committees is preferred
- Experience with a large hourly or shift-based workforce is preferred
