Job Description - (Job RF -1117) Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, applied behavior analysis services. This role is central to developing and implementing effective treatment plans, providing direct oversight to clinical staff, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support our clients' growth and development. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and committed to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of behavior acquisition and reduction programs, as well as adaptive life skills training.
  • Provide direct, 1:1 supervision and ongoing training for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and guide BCaBAs in accordance with BACB and organizational guidelines.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessment reports, behavior plans, and progress notes, in compliance with funder and accreditation standards.
  • Actively collaborate with families, schools, and other service providers (e.g., attending IEP/ISP meetings) to ensure integrated and effective care.
  • Adhere to and communicate all clinical policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines to staff and families.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and all standards set by HIPAA, BACB, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Must maintain active state licensure/certification as required to provide services.

Experience

  • Proven experience conducting assessments (e.g., functional analyses, skills assessments) and developing comprehensive behavior intervention plans.
  • Demonstrated experience providing supervision to RBTs and/or BCaBAs.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with families and caregivers.

Other

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with technology and navigating online systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide constructive training and feedback.
  • Must be in good physical condition to perform the essential functions of the role.
