Job Description - (Job RF -1122) Sales Executive

Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Sales Executive (Insurance)

Overview:
This role is central to developing new business and leading complex client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven sales track record, a consultative approach, and a passion for building a network. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities through active prospecting, networking, and leveraging referrals.
  • Build and maintain a network of outside influencers and professional connections.
  • Manage all sales activity and maintain an active pipeline within the company's CRM system.
  • Lead risk management strategies for existing client accounts, analyzing coverage and providing innovative solutions.
  • Serve as the account leader, working closely with service teams to ensure exceptional client service and retention.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales goals and quotas.
  • Identify and execute on cross-selling opportunities across different company practice areas.
  • Present and explain coverage terms, program options, and market solutions to clients.

Requirements:
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Life & Health license preferred (or ability to attain within first 60 days).
  • CEBS designation preferred.

Experiences

  • 5+ years of sales/consulting experience in a professional services or insurance industry.
  • Prior experience in building and growing a book of business.
  • Demonstrated technical consulting experience with a history of high client retention.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Other

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and can work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proficiency in gathering and analyzing data.
  • Enjoy presenting to and cultivating relationships with clients.
