Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their Water/Wastewater (W/WW) team. This role is ideal for a registered Professional Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment and possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of significant water and wastewater projects, from conception and design through construction, directly impacting communities and shaping the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage subconsultants, and mitigate project risks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are met.
• Lead project teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and continuous performance management.
• Communicate project status, updates, and financials effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, review invoices, and develop proposals for new project tasks.
• Actively contribute to business development and marketing efforts, including proposal development and interviews.

Requirements:
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.

Experiences

• 10+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Proven experience delivering water/wastewater projects from design through construction phase services.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-discipline project teams and subconsultants.
• Experience with various project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3) is preferred.
• Experience working with local municipal and/or state clients is preferred.

Other

• Must be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus.
