Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for an Associate Attorney (Product Liability & Asbestos Litigation)

Overview:
Our client, a prestigious full-service law firm with over 150 years of history, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in product liability and asbestos litigation. This role is based in their Long Island office, with flexibility to work from New York City as needed. The firm offers a collaborative environment and strong opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in product liability and asbestos-related litigation.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, motions, and client communication.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and litigation planning.
• Attend court conferences and manage an independent caseload with partner support.

Requirements:
Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Experiences:

• 3–5 years of experience in asbestos litigation, including deposition and courtroom work.
• Admission to the New York Bar (New Jersey Bar admission is a plus).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, co-counsel, and courts.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience).
Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and CLE support.
