Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Senior Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and instill a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze plans, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs using computer-aided tools (HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam).
• Assist in bid preparation, construction scheduling, and production-based cost calculations.
• Support proposal development and attend pre-bid site visits.
• Transition successful bids to Operations with clear documentation.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 10+ years in heavy civil construction (highway, earthwork, underground utilities).
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Primavera, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office.

Other:

• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (written/oral) and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with time management and multitasking skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year.
• Benefits: Competitive package (details provided upon offer).

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Work Arrangement: On-site (office-based with occasional site visits).

Working Conditions: Primarily desk work with occasional standing, bending, and lifting (5–20 lbs).
