Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Biomedical Equipment Technician

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate complex medical and clinical equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and install new systems.
• Evaluate demonstration equipment and submit detailed performance reports.
• Provide in-service education on the operation and safety of medical equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures to document root causes and prevent future issues.
• Manage accurate service documentation using Clinical Engineering systems.
• Coordinate technical projects and field assignments with other BMETs.
• Collaborate with vendors and various internal support departments.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training and independent research.
• Assist with an on-call emergency service rotation.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate’s degree in Biomedical/Electronics/Computer Technology and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experiences:
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of biomedical equipment.
• Solid understanding of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and medical sciences.
• Other:
• ICC Certification is a strong plus.
• Must be able to lift and handle equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Must be able to work occasional flexible hours for equipment access and emergency support.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $27.36 – $33.86/hr ($56,909 - $70,429 per year)
