Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Tax Senior

Overview:
A detail-oriented and experienced Tax Senior is needed to join our client's team in Chandler, Arizona. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who excels in a collaborative, client-focused environment and is eager to grow within the firm. You will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns and providing proactive tax planning and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Perform technical tax research and document findings.
• Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements to deliver high-quality service in a timely manner.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and interns.
• Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Assist with IRS and state tax audits and correspondence.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Use tax software and technology tools effectively to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Master’s in Taxation or a CPA license is preferred.

Experiences

• 3+ years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws.

Other

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary

• $85,000 - $105,000 Per Year
