Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a CNC Milling Machinist

Overview:
Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and independent CNC Milling Machinist with significant 5-axis experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a professional who excels in a hands-on environment with minimal supervision, particularly within the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and perform adjustments on CNC 5-axis machining centers.
• Troubleshoot machine controllers, equipment, and processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints to meet precise specifications.
• Select appropriate tools and set correct feeds and speeds for optimal machining.
• Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including all tools and equipment.
• Manage and re-order tooling inventory as needed.
• Handle parts and materials, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Requirements:
Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experiences:

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operation.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is a significant advantage.

Other:

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:

• $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Schedule:
Full-time:

• Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
• *Note: Initial 60-90 day training period will be on 1st shift.*
