Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Full-time BSN Nursing Instructor

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Instructor to join our team and instruct courses within our Nursing programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned RN with a Master's degree to transition into education, as no prior teaching experience is required. We provide a comprehensive Faculty Development training program to ensure your success in the classroom and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be a clinically competent professional with expertise in Pediatrics or OB-Gyn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and evaluate nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities.
• Develop, administer, and grade examinations and final course evaluations.
• Maintain accurate student records of attendance, grades, and clinical skills.
• Utilize principles of adult learning and integrate online activities to enhance teaching.
• Participate in student advising, committee activities, and faculty meetings.
• Ensure clinical facilities meet all health and safety requirements for students.
• Collaborate with other instructors on strategic planning and program assessment to maintain quality.

Requirements:

Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
• Coursework in nursing, education, or administration is required.

Experiences

• At least four years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience within the last five years.
• Expertise in either Pediatrics or OB-Gyn.
• Bedside nursing experience is essential; no prior teaching experience is required.

Other

• Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Must be clinically competent as defined by CCR Section 1420(c).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $95,000 per year.

Schedule:

• Full-time
