Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer – Structural Metal & 3D CAD

Overview:

A stable, employee-focused manufacturer in Caledonia, WI, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design custom structural metal products in a state-of-the-art facility. This role offers project variety, recession-proof stability, and a collaborative work environment with strong work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design one-of-a-kind structural metal products using AutoCAD & 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.).
• Oversee multiple engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in integrated designs.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required).

Experience:

• 2+ years in mechanical design engineering.
• 2+ years in structural metal product design & fabrication.
• 2+ years in AutoCAD (2D) & 3D CAD modeling.

Other:

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (No visa sponsorship).
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Caledonia, WI (No relocation).
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Stable work history with proven project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $70,000 – $86,500/year (Based on experience).
