Job Description - (Job TE-1199) Accounting & Office Manager

Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for an Accounting & Office Manager

Overview:
A small, light industrial manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Accounting & Office Manager to join its team immediately. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and quickly adapts to new tasks. This role is perfect for a proactive professional looking to manage both the financial and administrative functions of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Duties: Manage accounts receivable (including collections) and accounts payable; perform inventory accounting, bank reconciliations, and account analysis; prepare accruals, adjusting journal entries, and month-end/year-end financial statements.
  • Office Management Duties: Handle file management and general administrative tasks; assist with receptionist duties as needed; support the executive team with Human Resources and payroll-related responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Not specified, but relevant experience is required.
  • Experiences: Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and office management. A background in a manufacturing setting is a must.
  • Other: Proficient in accounting systems and office software. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, with competitive, merit-based increases.
  • Benefits: Competitive package, details to be discussed.

Schedule:

  • Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work arrangement: On-site.
