Overview:
Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm in Rochester, NY, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional to handle complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases within a respected firm known for its collaborative culture and commitment to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide regular updates to clients.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service.

Requirements:

• Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Experiences: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice.
• Other:
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Client-focused, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

• Work arrangement: On-site (five days a week at the Rochester, NY office).
