Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor

Overview:
A leading automotive manufacturing client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the optimal performance of all production equipment. This role is critical for minimizing downtime, leading a maintenance team, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs to maximize machine utilization and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot and respond promptly to production equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Direct, coach, and supervise maintenance subordinates, promoting a positive and high-trust team environment.
• Maintain the maintenance software database for all preventative and predictive maintenance processes.
• Manage spare part inventories and schedule maintenance work efficiently.
• Lead 8D corrective action processes to eliminate the root causes of equipment failures.
• Oversee all plant utilities and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure a safe work environment and uphold 5S housekeeping standards across the production floor.
• Assist with the relocation, dismantling, and installation of machinery and equipment.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree is required.

Experiences:

• Must have recent experience within an Automotive Manufacturing plant.
• Proven leadership experience supervising employees in a fast-paced, team-oriented plant environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine components, integration, and analytical problem-solving.

Other:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work the designated off-shift.
• Strong ability to motivate employees and resolve problems proactively.
• Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary

• $80,000 - $90,000 Per Year
