Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Trailer Mechanic to join our team on Second Shift. This role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of dry van trailers, ensuring safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lighting, and structural trailer systems

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance

• Ensure all work meets DOT and company standards

• Work independently and as part of a maintenance team

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in trailer repair or related field (preferred)

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Must be able to lift 80+ lbs and work in all weather conditions

• Comfortable entering/exiting trailers and operating foot/hand controls

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb in and under trailers

• Capable of working outdoors year-round in varying weather

• Must be physically fit to handle heavy parts and equipment regularly
