Job Description - Join Our Team: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching Position

Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Instructor – 2025–2026 Academic Year

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a forward-thinking school district to hire a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher with a focus on Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time itinerant role offers the opportunity to support students across multiple campuses, ensuring equitable access to communication and learning through specialized instruction.

As a DHH educator, you’ll play a vital role in designing and delivering tailored lessons, leveraging your expertise in American Sign Language (ASL), assistive technologies, and inclusive teaching practices. In collaboration with teachers, families, and IEP teams, you’ll help foster academic achievement, independence, and social-emotional growth for students with hearing impairments.

We're looking for an educator who brings creativity, compassion, and a strong understanding of best practices in DHH education. If you’re driven to make a lasting impact and ensure that every student has the tools they need to thrive, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Georgia Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement, along with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related discipline. Experience working with DHH students in K–12 settings is highly important, as is a solid grasp of the IEP process and the ability to create tailored education plans that support individual student needs. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is strongly preferred and will be a significant asset in fostering effective communication and connection with students.
