Journeyman and/or Tradesman Plumber - Residential

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman and/or Tradesman Residential Plumber to join our team. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential homes. You should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires adherence to all local plumbing codes and safety standards.

• Install and repair residential plumbing systems including water supply lines, waste lines, fixtures, and appliances.
   
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot plumbing issues in homes.
   
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
   
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
   
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide estimates or explanations for work needed.
   
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
   
• Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure efficient project completion.
   
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and service calls as needed.
   
• Mentor apprentices or less experienced plumbers when required.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman and/or Tradesman Plumbing License (State-specific, TEXAS).
   
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in residential plumbing.
   
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
   
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
   
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
   
• Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods.
   
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
