Journeyman Carpenters

Cedar Park Group is hiring 2 skilled Journeyman Carpenters and 1 Laborer for a short-term commercial project involving the installation of a drop ceiling in a bookstore. This project covers approximately 1,440 square feet, and all materials, supplies, ladders, and scaffolding will be on-site and ready to go.

  Minimum 6 years of professional carpentry experience

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 3 years of direct experience with drop ceilings (grid systems, track installation, tile placement)

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to read layouts and work independently with precision

  
  


• 
  

  Must bring all tools of the trade, including but not limited to: Laser level, Hammer, Pliers, Wire cutters, Tape measure, Screwdrivers, Chalk line, Pencils, Speed square, Portable spotlight

  
  

• 
  

  General construction or demo experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to assist carpenters, move materials, prep spaces, and follow direction

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

  
  

• 
  

  Site: Bookstore (indoor, climate-controlled environment)

  
  


• 
  

  Scope: Drop ceiling installation (tracks, grid, tile)

  
  


• 
  

  Materials: All materials and equipment provided on site

  Must follow all safety protocols and work efficiently as a team
