Job Description - Journeyman Electrician

Job Title: Lead Electrician
Location: Wyncote, PA
Compensation: $30–$40/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Lead Electrician (Foreman or Journeyman level) to join our team. In this leadership role, you'll guide a small crew, ensure high-quality installations, and serve as the face of our company on job sites. This is a great opportunity for a skilled electrician who thrives in a team-oriented setting and wants to grow with a stable, respectful company.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a crew of 2–3 apprentices and/or journeymen

Read and interpret electrical plans to design and implement job site layouts

Prepare accurate material lists and communicate clearly with management throughout the job

Perform and oversee electrical work across a variety of projects including:
- Residential new builds and renovations
- Troubleshooting/service calls
- Pool wiring installations
- Commercial facility maintenance
- PV/Solar and commercial EV charger installations
- Mini-excavator operation (a plus)

Act as the primary on-site contact, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with customers

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on electrical experience

Experience leading a team or crew preferred

Strong ability to read plans and effectively direct job site execution

Clean background check and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Journeyman License preferred (but not required)
