Journeyman Electrician with Brandon Zapata Electric Inc

We are currently seeking Electrician Journeymen to join our team. Applicants must have Journeyman Electrical Certificate knowledge, skills, and abilities and 4+ years of work experience.

As a licensed journeyman electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both commercial and residential settings. You will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with electrical codes and standards (NEC)
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and other technical documents
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly
• Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are being met
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to maintain high-quality workmanship

Minimum Requirements (Journeymen):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a licensed journeyman electrician
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC)
• Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures
• Physical dexterity and ability to work in tight spaces
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
