Journeyman HVAC/R Technician (Commercial)

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Journeyman HVAC/R Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
• Accurately estimate labor, materials, and time required for service and installation jobs
• Complete assigned projects efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
• Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and team members
• Work safely in various weather conditions and extreme temperatures
• Maintain detailed service documentation and job reports

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman HVAC/R license (or equivalent experience where applicable)
• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and diagnostics
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work with tools for extended periods

• Monday to Friday
• On call
