Journeyman Logistician (Contingent)

Expertise and Functions

• Provide support in the areas of scheduling, data gathering/limited analyses, database population, preparation of technical/project reports, test reports, and associated documentation
• Participate in test or project events as assigned by Project Manager or Engineering supervisor
• Assist with development of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL)s per Statement of Work
• Assist with development of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project
• Develop Bill of Material (BOM) from Technical Data Package (TDP)
• Develop purchase requisitions based on program needs and funding
• Observe all safety rules and maintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area
• Work cross functionally in other areas as needed
• Identify priorities based on time constraints and resources available
• Use various hand tools and machinery as required
• Maintain a clean work area
• Work unsupervised at times
• Report status and results
• Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Education/Training:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred

Experience:

• 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area required

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, able to bend, stretch, work with hands, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
• Must be able to visually inspect machines
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and respirator as needed
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
