Journeyman Pipefitter - Signing Bonus

Signing Bonus of up to $5,000 for well-qualified candidates.

Guardian Energy Management Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced MA-licensed Pipefitter to install projects for our commercial, industrial, and municipal clients throughout Massachusetts. We seek an individual with experience in the implementation and service-related work for various HVAC projects, including commercial boiler replacement, heat pump systems, rooftops, and other HVAC projects. This role offers a rate of up to $50/hour for the right individual with the opportunity for some overtime. Prevailing wage rate work may also be available at times. Our company is one of the fastest-growing design-build energy efficiency contractors serving customers in Massachusetts. Due to unprecedented growth, we have an immediate opening for pipefitters with an MA License and 5+ years of experience working in commercial, industrial, and/or municipal building settings.

Requirements for this position include:

• 5+ years of hands on experience working on commercial (non-residential) systems.


• Ability to manage and perform the installation of projects provided by our design team while offering feedback as needed to properly execute project implementation.


• Perform troubleshooting and offer solutions for service call and warranty related site visits, while interacting with internal resources and customers.


• Proven experience implementing projects with the highest quality in workmanship.


• Experience working with, training and managing an apprentice.


• Must have a positive attitude and able to work in a team oriented environment that includes sales people, engineers and project managers.


• May also work with our electrical division to implement a wide variety of HVAC projects.


• Availability to work overtime and weekends when required.


• Must have excellent problem solving skills and highly organized.


• All applicants must be in good physical condition and be able to lift 75lbs, climb ladders and stairs, etc.

 Licensing Requirements:

• Candidates must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter's AND Journeyman Plumber's license.


• Candidates with additional HVAC trade-related licenses and certifications and licensure in NH, CT, ME, and RI will be given preferential consideration.


• OSHA 10 certification is required.


• EPA 608 a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
