Journeyman Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Journeyman Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on technical experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and valid industry certifications or licenses.

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Identify equipment issues and implement effective repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA standards.
• Work with maintenance, production, and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and repairs as needed.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical or journeyman experience.
• Valid and current trade certifications or licenses.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

• Industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
• HVAC/R experience.
• Electrical or controls experience.
• PLC or automation experience.
• BAS/BMS experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or other industrial environments.
