San Gabriel Electric is currently seek a dedicated Foreman to be on our jobsites in the Austin,TX area.

Job Description:
- Oversees projects in commercial and residential projects
- Supervise and coordinate activities of team members in accordance with the engineers’ specifications and the National Electric Code
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision
- Analyzes and resolves work problems with creative solutions
- Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
- Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
- Assess material, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks and ensure all items required are ordered and at the job site in compliance with the scheduled requirements
- Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
Position Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman in commercial or residential electrical installations
- Possess knowledge of the current National Electric Code
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and accurately interpret construction electrical drawings
- Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment
- Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance
- Must have commercial or residential experience as a Job Foreman
- Must have valid Journeyman or Wireman License
- Looking for long term commitment

San Gabriel Electric is an electrical contractor specializing in high end custom home electrical systems and various commercial electrical projects. We strive to maintain the highest of quality installations and professionalism on every project.
Our residential projects range from extremely detail driven custom homes to high end remodels and additions. We do not do subdivision homes or production homes. The projects we take on are unique and require a cross between commercial and residential installation methods.
Our commercial projects range from office finish out, ground up construction, office/warehouse projects, restaurants, schools and more!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour

- Austin, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Foreman: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Journeyman or Wireman Electrical License (Required)
