Position Title: Jr. Account Manager, Individual Select Benefits Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Department Team Leader Hours: Full-Time Location: Salt Lake, Ogden, or Pleasant Grove, UT Office Compensation: $23 to $28/hr. with benefits

Position Summary Coordinates and conducts sales and service activities for Individual Health and Life plans to enroll prospective members into the health plan to increase enrollment. Helps new enrollment goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Public speaking, good communication skills, selling abilities
Performs inbound and outbound sales activities primarily by phone.
Maintain an accurate database of prospects and documentation to track and report of prospect sales.
Helps with small group benefit guides, compliance, and maintaining Client system.
Ability to know the customer’s point of view and take ownership of creating a solution to their issues.
Must have superior service skills and a desire to help others.
Fulfills continuing education to improve skills and increase effectiveness. Takes responsibility for knowing and completing professional improvement courses and giving the company any necessary documentation. Participates in ongoing training to improve sales and service skills.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Three to five years of Employee Benefits or Human Resources Benefits experience
Sales experience in HMO or PPO individual health insurance preferred, Medicare Advantage insurance, group health insurance, marketing, public relations or related sales field.
Licenses or Certifications:
Life, Accident & Health License required, or accomplished within 30 days of employment.
Federally Facilitated Marketplace, Colorado 4Health Certificate within 60 days of employment.
Required Job Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability (LTD), Short Term Disability (STD).
Proficient in a variety of computer software applications used by the agency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; EPIC; as well as the Federally Facilitated Marketplace and Carrier Web Sites.
Ability to establish and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, trusted business partners and coworkers.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well with details.
Physical: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and to listen for instructions and information. The employee is also required to sit for long periods of time often in front of a computer monitor and operate a computer keyboard. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
