One of Aston Carters top clients is looking for an ambitious, eager to learn individual who is interested in gaining a broad understanding of receivables, payables and how they relate to the financial footprint of the company

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Industry: Machinery Manufacturing

Location: Trenton, NJ

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.

Desirable experience - Knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles

Responsibilities:

As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining, preparing, and reconciling accounts and other financial documents.

Job/Equipment handling including communication with project managers.

Job/Equipment – Creating Sales Orders/invoices/credit memos.

Cash Management – including Cash forecasts.

Customer Relations/Account review.

Cash Collection.

Month End Close procedures. Preparation of General Ledger Entries and Analysis.

Sales & Use Tax Calculation and reviews.

Other Finance Tasks as needed.
