About the Role:

We’re seeking a Junior Buyer to support procurement activities across engineering and operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow their experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the procurement of materials, components, equipment, and services


• Support the issuance of RFQs and RFPs; gather and compare supplier quotes


• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support purchasing needs


• Help maintain purchase orders and records in procurement systems


• Coordinate with suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery


• Learn and apply procurement compliance requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS, ITAR)


• Participate in vendor performance tracking and help address basic delivery or quality concerns


• Research and help identify new suppliers or sourcing opportunities


• Contribute to cost tracking, reporting, and improvement initiatives


• Provide general administrative support to the procurement and supply chain teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain preferred


• Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail


• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities


• Willingness to learn government procurement standards (FAR/DFARS, ITAR)


• U.S. Citizen (required due to federal contracting requirements)

Pay Range:

$70,000- $90,000 USD
