Jr IT Technician - Second Shift

The Opportunity:

We are hiring for a Junior L1 On-site IT Technician (2nd Shift) to provide on-site technical support and assistance to our employees, warehouses, and remote staff. 

As the technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of Apple devices, including Mac Mini, MacBook Pros, and iPads across our organization. You will also provide break/fix support for our fulfillment warehouses, Google Workspace administration, and offer support to our helpdesk team.

• Reset the state of Carol Stream’s operational team’s tech devices from 1st shift and prepare for 3rd shift


• Maintain and respond to Jira IT support tickets from the organization as Tier 1 support. This involves both on-site support in Carol Stream and remote support for other locations and users. Support will comprise of:


• Administer and manage Google Workspace accounts, including email, calendar, and drive.


• Basic vendor management related to support needs, such as scheduling call-outs and procurement


• Assistance with employee onboarding and offboarding


• Provide training to employees on how to effectively use our IT systems and tools.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend improvements to our IT infrastructure

What you'll bring to the team (Required Skills): 

• 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.


• Experience managing and supporting corporate hardware devices such as laptops, tablets and workstations


• Familiarity with corporate email and identity management 


• Strong troubleshooting and IT problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• On-site role in Carol Stream, IL

Nice to Have:

• IT support roles in warehousing environments or logistics companies


• Experience managing and supporting Apple devices such as Mac Mini, MacBook Pros, and iPads.


• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.


• Spanish language fluency
