Overview
Planned Systems International (PSI), a Government Contractor, has an immediate opportunity available for Jr. Network/Sys Admin who will provide support to the Veterans Affairs (VA) for the Enterprise Testing Service Support Services (ETSSS) contract.
We are seeking a motivated candidate who is excited to be a part of a highly collaborative team, eager to immerse themselves in the ever-changing world of technology, willing to learn in a hands-on environment and possess excellent customer service skills. This candidate should have a basic understanding of system administration concepts, practices and procedures and be able to troubleshoot basic network issues to include configurations, connectivity, and networking concepts. The candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of system administration activities independently and be able to work under aggressive deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology, or related field with 2 years of related work experience or Associates Degree with 4+ years related work experience
Working knowledge of Active Directory (including AD DS, AD FS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.)
Familiar with data center operations and networking (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
Knowledge of LDAP, Configuration Management Tools, DNS, Backups, Log management
Knowledge in troubleshooting hardware/software to include Dell, HP, VMWare, Citrix
Candidate must have working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience using Microsoft products such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Ability to communicate highly complex information to a wide range of audiences.
Must possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to create and maintain support documentation/knowledgebase.
Create, track and resolve escalated service desk action items
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for scheduled maintenance, and/or unscheduled interruptions and emergencies.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates selected must successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
Candidate should be local to the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida area and be able to commute to Bay Pines
Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Candidate must be a self-learner, self-initiator, and enthusiastic and be able to work well under pressure
Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills as well as have excellent oral and written communications skills
Must have ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks if necessary, handle changing priorities, be detail oriented, and be able to work independently.
