Insight Global is looking for a Jr. Project Coordinator for a telecommunications client in Detroit, Michigan. The Jr. Project Coordinator will manage a variety of day-to-day administrative and project related duties for the Detroit Office and Field teams to help drive and achieve overall effectiveness and efficiency. This position is responsible for working closely with Project Manager/Estimators, Business Manager, and Business Operations Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. This role is onsite Monday-Friday with some occasional travel to their Cincinnati location for training.
Other responsibilities include:
* Screen incoming phone calls to the office.
* Act as point of contract for office cleaning, maintenance, mailing, office supply orders and equipment repairs.
* Receiving incoming material for projects, organize appropriately in the office warehouse, and enter in company project software.
* Utilize company software to update material inventory, create Purchase Orders, dispatch jobs and create job costing reports.
* Organize, attend, and participate in project meetings.
* Ensure projects adhere to company policy and procedures and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
* Complete new hire paperwork and send paperwork to Human Resources.
* Order and track office supply inventory, such as basic office needs and uniforms.
* Utilize Company Fleet Tracking software to monitor vehicle maintenance and driver behavior.
* Manage field tool and van inventory.
* Coordinate lift schedules for projects.
* Coordinate travel with Cincinnati Office Admin.
* Provide close out documents such as test results, as-built drawings, etc. to clients, as needed.
* Work with Human Resources and Temporary Agencies to source labor.
* Track field certification.
* Manage client badging.
* Print documents and job site drawings.
* Project and data management in TSheets.
* Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
* Technician documentation management
* Attend client and vendor meetings and walkthroughs.
* Enter invoices for accounts payables.
