We are looking for a JR. SOCIAL STRATEGIST who can take our Marketing efforts to the next level through the lens of strategy and execution.

Role Overview As a Junior Social Media Strategist at West 44th Digital, you will shape how our roster of comedy clubs and comedians resonate across digital platforms. Working closely with our creative team, video editors, and the clients themselves, you will turn stage moments and cultural conversations into platform-native content that fills seats, expands digital footprints, and builds a dedicated fanbase.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor internet culture, emerging meme formats, viral audio, and comedy subreddits to identify quick-turnaround content opportunities for our brand and clients.

· Maintain an organized content calendar, ensuring regular publication schedules that align with upcoming tour dates and client’s content pipeline.

· Collaborate closely with video editors to optimize stand-up clips, sketch cuts, and all creative assets specifically tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Reddit.

· Compile weekly and monthly performance reports across all active platforms, translating metrics into actionable insights that can be relayed back to the client and their respective teams.

· Track audience sentiment and direct comment interactions to identify which recurring bits, themes, and formats are gaining traction.

· Audit other live entertainment brands, comedians, and comedy venues to spot opportunities and platform algorithm shifts.

Minimum qualifications:

· 1–2 years of experience managing or strategizing for digital social channels, creator accounts, or entertainment brands (relevant internships or personal creator portfolios welcome).

· Native fluency with short-form video platforms, including an intuitive grasp of pacing, hooks, captions, and platform-specific tone.

· Working familiarity with social analytics dashboards and scheduling tools (i.e. Hootsuite) across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Studio, and Reddit.

· Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to write sharp, witty copy that feels authentic rather than corporate.

· A genuine passion for live performance, stand-up comedy, and internet culture.
