Jr. Support Engineer

Title: Jr. AWS Support Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 12+ months contract
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr

We are looking for a "Jr. Support Engineer" to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities:

Modify, maintain, and validate business related configurations (such as catalog, ordering, billing, notifications, tax, payments, accounting, finance) to satisfy business requirements.
Communicate with partner teams to ensure country specific configuration are in place and working.
Develop tools and automate manual operational tasks and easy maintenance of our services.
Read and understand complex application code and make code fixes to resolve support issues.
Able to deliver software independently when needed.
Software deployment support in staging and production environments.
Build monitoring metrics dashboard, and report System health and Support status metrics.
Requirements

4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience
Experience scripting in modern program languages
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
Working knowledge of AWS products and technologies (EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, etc.)
