Junior Accountant

We have traditionally seen the JR Accounting role grow into various roles such as operations manager, general manager, regional manager, SR accountant and COO. We are a family owned and operated company with 13 sites spanning across 6 states.

Position Summary:

This Jr Accounting position will contribute to the Accounting/Finance function for multiple Recycling company locations. This individual will work on inventory, weekly performance reports, trending costs, and other bookkeeping/accounting projects and duties as assigned.

•  Prepare weekly performance reports for multiple entities.
•  Record journal entries related to various entities.
• Prepare monthly reporting for various entities.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Assist in special projects.

Qualifications for the Jr. Accountant:

•  BS/BA in Accounting or finance required.
•  Multi-tasker, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a deadline oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office products.
• Potential travel in the future of 25% of the time.
