Diversified Technologies, Inc. (“DTI”) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment.  Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the world’s most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories.

DTI is seeking a full-time Junior Buyer/Expeditor who will participate as a team member within a small accounting department.  This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative, fast-paced technical organization based in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain critical materials, components, equipment and services as required


• Engage purchasing activities: Secure quotes, initiate purchase orders


• Contact vendors for updated delivery dates when necessary


• Coordinate receiving activity, organize received parts and equipment


• Manage parts and parts tracking system


• Engage other tasks as directed to support production processes

Requirements:

• One to three years related experience


• Familiarity with inventory control, purchasing and requisition systems


• Excellent attention to detail. Proven follow-through skills


• Pro-active and self-motived


• U.S. Person

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience
