Junior Cashier

Job Summary

The Junior Cashier is responsible for handling billing transactions, cash receiving and disbursement, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to interact professionally with customers while ensuring efficient cash management operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.


• Receive, count, verify, and reconcile cash collections.


• Maintain daily cash records and prepare cash reports.


• Ensure proper cash handling and adherence to company procedures.


• Assist in cash management activities, including balancing cash drawers and maintaining transaction records.


• Provide prompt and professional customer service.


• Address customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department when necessary.


• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer support role, cashier position, or a related field.


• Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience are highly encouraged to apply.


• Basic understanding of cash handling, billing, and customer service processes.


• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.


• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.


• Good understanding of banking procedures and financial transactions.
