Junior Civil Engineer

Cosmos Technologies, Inc. – Cleveland, OH

Cosmos Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for a Junior Level Civil Engineer with at least 0-2 years of experience to help provide civil design services for municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater, and site civil projects within the Akron and Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, PA; and Louisville, KY area(s).

Duties/ Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will prepare design site/ civil plans under the direction of senior engineers. It is the expectation that this role will be able to contribute to all phases of Civil Engineering projects such as creating grading plans, surfaces, plans and profiles, cross-sections etc. This individual could also be required to perform construction management/ inspection services (CM/CI). Candidates must also be open to earning additional certifications such as NASSCO certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 1- 2 years of work experience in land development or transportation project experience with either AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation
• Be self-motivated, team player with a strong desire to learn and grow
• FE or EIT designation is preferred.
