The Junior Creative Designer will assist in the creation and execution of visual designs for various marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and branding elements. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to develop their design skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00 – 5:00pm. This role reports to the Visual Design Supervisor.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design Creation: Assist in creating visually engaging designs for a variety of projects, including templates, social media graphics, website visuals, email campaigns, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Concept Development: Collaborate with marketing team to brainstorm and develop design concepts that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design work adheres to the company's brand standards and maintains a consistent visual identity across all platforms and materials.
- Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders into design revisions and updates. Demonstrate a willingness to iterate and refine designs based on constructive input.
- Project Support: Provide support in the design process, including preparing files for print, resizing assets for different formats, and ensuring timely delivery of design assets.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques. Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including marketers, copywriters, and developers, to ensure designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output before final delivery.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a design role, including internships or freelance work, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative work.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
