As Hagerty grows, we continue to look for talented professionals from a variety of backgrounds to provide holistic solutions to our clients. Currently, we are seeking **Junior Emergency Managers** to serve on an **on-call basis** as members of our firm-s **Reservist Cadre** . These are **contract positions** and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally for up to 30 days or more, to a state or local Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and/or at a field site, as designated by our client-s needs. Ideal candidates for these response missions will be available to **deploy within 48 to 72 hours notice** . During an activation, Junior Emergency Managers will work to support the successful completion of our client-s incident objectives and coordinate with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs).

Candidates for the roles of the Junior Emergency Managers: Reservist Cadre **must** possess the following qualifications:

+ A bachelor-s degree or higher.

+ At least two (2) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.

+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

+ An understanding of the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).

+ The ability to provide summary products for leadership.

+ A willingness to be on site working with a client for more than one month.

+ The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client-s operational tempo.

+ The ability able to remain calm and poised under pressure, work successfully on multiple priorities simultaneously, and remain focused when working under tight deadlines.

+ The ability to be flexible and demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in all endeavors.

Candidates for the roles of Junior Emergency Managers: Reservist Cadre **may** also have the following qualifications:

+ The desire to help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.

+ Experience researching complex issues and presenting outcomes and insights to a supervisor or large audience.

+ Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

+ Past participation in emergency management exercises.

+ Experience implementing incident objectives with a diverse set of agencies and stakeholders.

+ Experience working as part of an Operations Section, Logistics Section, or Planning Section on a previous disaster.

+ National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials.
